So over the weekend, everyone on our server was treated to that terrifying moment where you go to your web page and find that your site is down. Then go to the server  webpage and find that even the servers admin page is down. That sinking feeling that this is actually a big problem. Now let’s be upfront. A LOT of servers go through this. Sooner or later servers fail, and unfortunately every once in a while the servers all fail at once. This time there were explosions and even flames. That  is, of course, the only way ThinkLeet could be brought down…  with Michael Bay explosions.  Now don’t get me wrong. Of all the servers I could be on, I couldn’t be happier with NetDynamic. Bill, the owner, is one of the best at what he does.  This event does give me the opportunity to rebuild and massage some of the site like I would like so that I can speed it up for you and make it easier to use. I added media player buttons so you don’t need to keep the page open, as well as “Follow Us” buttons and “Share” buttons on all pages and articles. As always as the Editor in Chief my goal is to look out for the reader and listeners.
